How the commercial real estate advisory and valuation works
At Welfont, we realize that understanding complex tax laws can be a challenge for all parties in a real estate deal. So, we offer our clients and other participants of the deal advisory and valuation services to help parse the complex languages of the 1031 Exchange and the IRS Section 170 Bargain Sale. We even provide governmental resources to help clients interpret the language.
Our advisory services consist of advising both sellers and buyers in the intricate details of 1031 Exchanges and Bargain Sales, as it relates to particular transactions and not general tax advice. In addition, Welfont offers investors advisory services on high yield distressed, value-add, or under-utilized investment opportunities.
Although, we do not offer our own appraisal services, we have a wide network of leading specialty appraisers throughout the U.S. who we work with in completing Bargain Sale, investment, as well as financing appraisals.
