Mr. Spilman grew up in Greater Cincinnati learning his entrepreneurial spirit from watching his father. Jeff’s father owned a real estate brokerage & development business as well as an insurance agency. Jeff entered the real estate business in 1977 selling single family homes with his father. Then, in 1980 he moved into the commercial real estate field earning the honored CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation shortly after in 1985.
Jeff is a commercial real estate investment expert with extensive experience involving the entire commercial real estate spectrum. He spent his career successfully sourcing and pursuing investment properties that fit specific criteria by modeling, evaluating, and understanding an asset’s market position. Jeff’s experience includes working extensively with attorneys, title companies, contractors, and a network of real estate brokers which has lead to the successful leasing or sale of nearly every type of investment property.
Jeff graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity and served as the chapter president for one term.
When not working, Jeff enjoys playing golf and practicing his guitar (both definitely a work in progress) and spending time with his family. He is also an avid follower of national politics.
He and wife, Kayla, have been married since 1990 and have two sons who are majoring in Business at the University of South Florida.
