The Tampa Bay Business Journal recently recognized Tampa-based, real estate brokerage, The Welfont Companies Inc. for being named as the 20th Best Entrepreneurial Company in America by Entrepreneur magazine's 2018 Entrepreneur360 List of the Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America. Of the 360 companies that were honored as one of the Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America, four were from the Tampa area with Welfont ranked the highest of the four. Additionally, Welfont was ranked #1 in the country in the real estate brokerage and services category.
The TBBJ acknowledged Welfont as one of the smaller businesses in Tampa finally receiving national recognition in the entrepreneur scene, over larger businesses in the area the public only knows - “While Tampa Bay residents are able to name the heavy hitters in the entrepreneur scene, smaller businesses are getting recognition with a new national list,” reporter Lauren Coffey wrote.
